I'm a new user of SLIME;
built from CVS, and am using emacs (fink)
21.3.50.1 under X, and
Lispworks (Pro) on Mac.
Startup slime note that the
*SLIME-Typeout* screen appears (separately), read in some buffers. Kill slime
(m-x slime-quit-lisp).
Delete the buffer
*Slime-Typeout* which is then replaced by some other buffer Emacs has, probably
one of your source code buffers.
Restart slime.
Any output slime would
direct to the *SLIME-Typeout* window is now directed to the exposed buffer in
the mini-screen instead.
Accidentally saving this
file could lead to lost work. (for instance, in the REPL, type "(defun
" to get a prompt for the arguments to defun).
Thanks,
