[slime-devel] net-read error with slime -D "2004-11-19 19:00"

The latest slime causes problems for me in Allegro 6.2 mlisp on Win32. I suspect the culprit is the new encoding stuff. I get a "net-read error: (end-of-file)" and an ugly debugger backtrace with lots of line noise in it.
