I think it should be added to SLIME.
You might also want to look at 'hyperdoc' in asdf.lisp, which presents a policy for any third-party package to add its own symbol->url lookup. It's not widely used at present, but I'm going to attempt to get it supported for all SBCL packages and contribs in the May development cycle of same. -dan -- "please make sure that the person is your friend before you confirm"
