I'll do that. Here's a new version that also removes one small error. C-c C-t invokes the simpler trace, C-u C-c C-t invokes the contextual trace.
I changed that it the CVS version. I also replaced all the backend functions related to tracing with a single function. It looks a little nicer this way.
