[slime-devel] Replacing slime-autodoc by eldoc ?

Hello, Is there any reason that prevent us to use eldoc when coding Lisp ? Why the choice was to reinvent the wheel by creating slime-autodoc ? Any hint on how to change that and use eldoc ?
