[slime-devel] Abort loading file "/usr/share/common-lisp/source/slime/swank-loader.lisp"

Hello, I am teaching Lisp for a weak in Vietnam. One of my students could not start Slime although he had the same environment (Ubuntu, Emacs23, SBCL) as his other colleagues. He has installed SBCL and Slime using "apt-get". All the things I usually try usually in the .emacs file did not work so I am turning to you for help. Below the trace of the loading of Slime. I thank you in advance, Irène Durand Le 09/12/11 08:37, Thien Sy a écrit :

Installing the cl-asdf Debian package would probably solve this problem. The Debian maintainers modified swank-loader.lisp and added this "feature". So the Debian bug tracker would be the right place to report this issue (I think they fixed it already). Helmut
