[slime-devel] 'Hint' text not appearing reliably in command line

I'm not sure what you call it, but the text that appears in the command line/buffer that shows the value of the current symbol or the completions of the current function/form? Anyway, after cvsupping 2 days or so ago, the text no longer appears when in should. It usually works for a little while, then stops. Is it possible a recent change has broken this feature at the moment? Jonathon McKitrick -- My other computer is your Windows box.

the fix is to change the defun into a defun* for slime-global-variable-name-p. someone with commit rights, please. -- - attila "- The truth is that I've been too considerate, and so became unintentionally cruel... - I understand. - No, you don't understand! We don't speak the same language!" (Ingmar Bergman - Smultronstället)
