Sometimes, not very deterministically, after (require 'foo), point jumps from the prompt way up, into a seemingly random place in copious output.

It's not a compilation note, not a warning, but something like "compiling (defun foo ...". It happens even if no notes are emitted. Someone on #lisp confirmed that as well.

I don't have any idea on how to debug or isolate it.
