Hi,
I am completly new to slime. I am using the code of the unofficial slime git repo (https://github.com/nablaone/slime.git119) and Emacs 24.0.93.1. I setup slime in my init.el with
(require 'slime-autoloads) (slime-setup '(slime-fancy slime-banner)) (setq inferior-lisp-program "sbcl")
Unfortunately initalization fails.

I feel so dumb. What did I do wrong?

Did you compile .el files? If so, looks like they were compiled in the wrong order. Try deleting .elcs.
