Does anybody know id Scheme can be used with SLIME ?
- SISC - JScheme - Scheme48
I know Scheme48 has SLIME but it is not the latest SLIME code and I like to keep up to date. JScheme has it's own emacs interface but it's not brilliant compared to SLIME.
Any takers?
FWIW, I have tentative plans to make a PLT MzScheme/MrEd backend for SLIME, and ideally get it admitted as part of the canonical SLIME distribution.
Depending on how (and whether) that goes, next on my to-do list would probably be SISC, Gambit, or Chicken. Or a portable, feature-limited REPL-based backend.
In the interim, I use Quack: http://www.neilvandyke.org/quack/
For my day job, I use SLIME with SBCL. :)

Lucky man. I'm looking forward to the day when I'm senior enough to bring about such an environment at my day job. Until then its Eclipse with Java :-(
