[slime-devel] Automatically start SLIME? (noob alert)

Hi. Total EMACS/SLIME noob here, so please forgive if I'm asking a dumb question, or asking it in the wrong place. I only ever use emacs with SLIME, so I would like to know if it is possible to automatically load SLIME when I load EMACS. Actually, what would be nice is if I could use an alias or a script (called, say, SLIME (!)) to start up SLIME within emacs. TIA Jeff
