Try the following:
1. Create the private key file
openssl genrsa -out privkey.pem 2048
2. Then create the certificate using the private key
openssl req -new -x509 -key privkey.pem -out cacert.pem -days 1095
3. (hunchentoot::start-server :port 443
:ssl-certificate-file "cacert.pem" :ssl-privatekey-file "privkey.pem")
