I would miss it. The error log backtrace was one of our best friends in debugging those requests where something would go horribly wrong with a user's transaction.
Me too.
I agree though that the details of getting the backtrace should be moved to another library (didn't gwk propose TRIVIAL-BACKTRACE?).
