Not at all, I'd say, because it's a server and not a client. You might want to look into Drakma for client functionality: http://weitz.de/drakma/ Maybe you can re-use some of the XML stuff in CL-WEBDAV to generate and understand PROPFIND and PROPERTYUPDATE requests, but for simple WebDAV usage Drakma should suffice.
