Ok, lets make it official. The December meeting of the Toronto Lisp User Group is happening at 6:00 pm on Tuesday the 4th at Bento Miso http://goo.gl/maps/y8YJb As part of the meeting, we can discuss what we're doing with location going forward. -Leo

Hey guys, I'm Dann from Bento Miso. We've started our winter hours, 9-6, so meetings can begin at 6pm now. We have seats for about 50, whiteboard, coffee and a projector. I'd love to have you guys back at our space. Based on the last round of voting it sounded like the geographic distribution was about evenly split, so alternating sides of the city might be the right decision, but if you want Miso to be your full-time host I'd be thrilled to make that happen. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

Bento Miso can indeed host a larger group. I'm ok with either location. Wave gets minor preference because it happens to be closer to my work, but if other people can't make it due to location, I'd prefer to make the further trip rather than exclude attendees. Last I heard from the Toronto Haskell mailing list, they were re-thinking their meeting time (though from what I understand, they're still hosted at the Hack Lab; no idea whether that's from preference or for lack of another venue). We could send them a heads-up about our December meeting time/place and see if they'd be ok with it. toronto-haskell(a)googlegroups.com -Leo

bento miso please! :) it's possible that we could merge the haskell group (with their interest) with the lisp group. bento miso holds tech/programming/math focused events and is probably a better place for this group. Hello everyone, There is a new Google Group started yesterday, called clojure-power (http://bit.ly/T1ehqO). The goal of the group is sharing ideas between various Clojure user groups world wide, promoting Clojure, and making user group meetings more interesting and fun. [toronto-lisp] FogBugz/emacs user?

I started working on a mode to interface to emacs with FogBugz. In particular I want a nice org-mode file generated with it.<https://github.com/omouse/fogbugz-mode> FogBugz is a bug/issue tracker, we're using it at work and it isn't too bad. I'm coding a server that mocks the API of FogBugz so that testing the interface is much quicker (also because I have no internet at home at the moment and it's really hard to test a web API without internet) The mock server uses Common Lisp: https://github.com/omouse/fogbugz-mode/blob/master/mock-fogbugz.lisp -Rudolf O.
