Hi everyone, I've written up the minutes for the April meeting, and put them up here: http://www.lisptoronto.org/past-meetings/2009-04-meeting Feel free to add anything you can remember. If you don't have permissions for the website, ask Telman for them. I've also put up that Sudoku solver I wrote in Clojure -- it's attached to that page. I've tried to make the code as neat as possible. Take a look! Another thing.. in the spirit of what Abram said to me in the subway station -- if you want our club to work on projects, start them yourself! -- I'm going to start studying Compojure, and when I've learned it I'll start a project for the club. Right now I'm thinking of making a Reddit-clone.. but I'm open to suggestions. Cheers, Vish Singh

The next meeting is tomorrow, April 7, yes? Any volunteers to talk about a specific topic? If not, I would enjoy getting an explanation on how to set up clojure with emacs (or whatever other options there might be) and a discussion of what GUI-building library is best to use with it (I'm blissfully ignorant of the Java world, so pointers to tutorials would also be helpful :-). If nobody has anything to talk about, then I could, off the top of my head, talk about state machines and my state machine macros and/or PAIP prolog and/or factbases. pt

So this coming Tuesday is our April Meeting. Do anyone have anything they could talk about at the meet? Do we need a projector? Toronto Lisp Users Group April Meeting: April 7th, 6pm, Linux Caffe (Walk north of bloor from Christie Station, til you hit Harboard street) We're looking for volunteers for talks, discussion, tutorials. Your current projects, proposal for projects, libraries you like, tutorials or related LISPy languages, issues relevant to lisp etc. If you feel obligated to present something but don't have any idea, I suggest going into Common Lisp or Scheme R5RS and talking about how a certain function or object works, how it is implemented etc, things that use it. It is pretty easy to get a couple of minutes of content from that. http://www.lisptoronto.org/ Hope to see you there! abram
