Yesterday, while seated on the bus with my nose buried (as usual) in a Lisp book, a young woman seated to my left asked excitedly "Is that Scheme!?" It was indeed; the fourth edition of "The Scheme Programming Language".
Her name is Laura.
You meet the most fascinating people on buses. I had a similar experience with a fellow to my right, on a morning when I happened to be reading "Godel, Escher, Bach". We had quite the lively discussion about it.
