[toronto-lisp] Lisp meetup today, 6pm, LinuxCaffe, 326 Harbord Street

Just a reminder! Today's the meetup, 6pm. LinuxCaffe is about a block south of Christie subway station. Check the map at http://wiki.alu.org/toronto -Rudolf

So when is the next Lisp Meet? Is anyone up for an unofficial or official one? abram

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I had forgotten to change up all the stuff and all that :S We can do an unofficial one at the Fox & Fiddle tomorrow or next week Thursday (I think a few people mentioned being busy tomorrow). The Linuxcaffe has a few events going on that start at 7 or 8 which is kind of a pain. Sorry folks! -Rudolf 2008/7/1 Abram Hindle <abram.hindle@softwareprocess.us>:

Well I'm all for tomorrow since I won't be around next week. But if no one is going to show then so be it. I'd like to hear from others, I'm fine with the meeting being next week, I just can't show up :( abram Rudolf wrote:

I'm up for tomorrow as well. I think it was just one or two people that said they couldn't make it, so it's not as if *no one* is going to show up, heh. -Rudolf

I'm easy either way. Now (assuming we'll meet tomorrow) it's rather last minute, but I'd like to put my vote in for some kind of presentation. We had discussed a few possibilities at the end of last month's meeting but the discussion hasn't carried over into the mailing list. So as it stands, no presentations are planned. If anyone wants to volunteer to present tomorrow, even something small, I think it that would be great. Any takers? ______ Justin On Wed, Jul 2, 2008 at 11:07 AM, Rudolf <omouse@gmail.com> wrote:

Ah crappy, I'm not feeling so well just now. I won't be able to make it tonight, but next week is fine with me. Tell us no-shows how it goes! -Rudolf 2008/7/2 Rudolf <omouse@gmail.com>:

I'm OK with tomorrow or next week. I had promised to bring my laptop along and showing Lispworks (I don't mind doing that more than once for anyone who misses this meeting and is interested). It will most certainly be an informal presentation :-). pt

Please count me in for tomorrow and/or next week. Showing up for both merely doubles the fun! Brian Connoy CAD I.S. "Cause trouble now, to save trouble later."
