wave accounting held a hackersnest meetup. they are a bit out of the way, but i guess the linux cafe was too.
I work at CSI spadina, so I can provide a room there. there are chalkboards and i think some projectors. personally, i rather go to wave accounting. :)
i met the guy who started the clojure dojo. i think we'll have a computer and people will swap out every few minutes to let someone else program. it's at thoughtworks, that alone makes it worth going to.

Hi folks,
I think we (WaveAcounting) can host it. We have a nice patio with tables and all that. If it starts raining we'll just move inside.
Snacks and soda drinks is on us.
Interested?

I think it would be fair to withhold any decision until after summer
and
when all of the "regulars" have had a chance to chime in.
Lately, the ToLUG meetings have been wide ranging, but we did have
meetings that dealt with specific Lisp issues and Lisp demos. If we got
a
room with a projector, we might go back to that style of meeting...
Are the Haskell meetings also as wide ranging, or would they be
"diluting" the content if a bunch of lisp-oriented issues were brought
in?
