Next meeting is Tuesday August 7. www.lisptoronto.org I drove by Linux Caffee a few weeks ago and the windows were still papered over. Has the situation changed? Would someone suggest (with coordinates) an provisional alternate location? Does anyone have ties with UofT and could get us permission to grab an unused classroom once a month (the way that GTALUG does)? thanks pt

FYI, this came up at the last GTALUG board meeting, and one of the better plausible ideas tossed out was thus: Contact : Manager Moe, Address The Imperial Pub, 54 Dundas Street East. -North East corner of Dundas Square. We use the "Back Room" Best to go in in person. I haven't been there, but others have, and thought it was a pretty plausible answer. -- When confronted by a difficult problem, solve it by reducing it to the question, "How would the Lone Ranger handle this?"
Since no one took notes yesterday, would all attendees simply send me a few points that they remember from the conversation and I'll collate and post minutes? thanks pt
After the meeting, I drove by Linux Caffee and noticed that the 'we're renovating, reopening in July' sign has been removed from the front door and the windows are still papered up. We should begin discussing the venue for September soon. pt
