Hello, My name is Gary King and I'd like to add the following CL projects to Common-Lisp.net. In all cases, I am the only member at this time. The projects all use the MIT license. 1. containers This is a common-lisp "containers" library that provides a uniform framework for regular Lisp containers (lists, arrays, hash-tables, alists, etc) and a small host of additional container types (doubly-linked lists, queues, sparse arrays, red-black trees, etc.) 2. moptilities This is a project similar in spirit to CLOSER and I'll be trying to merge the two and/or replace my use of moptilities with CLOSER in the coming months. It provides a MOP compatibility layer and several useful (IMHO) MOP related utilities. 3. cl0-utils This is a set of basic Lisp utilities on which containers (and several other of my projects) depend. I am writing to request space for a project to be hosted on common-list.net. The name of the project is "Fomus" (an acronym for format music). It is a program for computer music composition and is designed to work with other Lisp music programs (Rick Taube's Common Music and CCRMA's Common Music Notation in particular). The program receives "raw" data representing notes, durations and other musical parameters and outputs files in various formats to be imported into music notation programs (supported file formats include MusicXML, CMN, and Lilypond), the idea being that all decisions regarding notation such as spelling of notes, splitting and tying notes, layout of voices across staves, etc. are automated. This relieves the compute music composer of the tedious task of importing and formatting the output of his/her algorithms, facilitating artistic experimentation and allowing for quicker feedback. The program is also being written in a modular fashion so that users can choose between sets of related functions or to use only select portions of the program. My name is Stelian Ionescu and I'm math student in Rome, Italy. I'm writing a BitTorrent client in Common Lisp licensed under the GPL which I've called cl-torrent until I find a better name :) . The project is in early stage and the only complete part is the parser, but now that my exams are over I'm working on it every day. Hi, would it be possible to get darcs and darcs_cgi installed at common-lisp.net? Darcs can be gotten from http://abridgegame.org/darcs as (binary) package for many platforms, including Debian GNU/Linux (the darcs and darcs-server packages, respectively). The CGI script's configuration allows for one location of darcs repositories, so this should probably be a global location that other projects have access to as well.
