[admin] Request for new project: CLPython

Hello Erik, Thanks for managing common-lisp.net, and encouraging the growth of Lisp. :-) I'd like to make use of the service for my project CLPython. CLPython is an implementation of Python in Common Lisp. It's written by me (Willem Broekema), with support from Franz Inc. It will be offered under Franz' LLGPL license. Concretely, I'd like to use the following features: home page, bug tracking and wiki (Trac), and 'announce' and 'develop' mailing lists. The source code is currently in private CVS, and for now I'd like to keep it that way and release CLPython as a source .tgz and Allegro 8.0 fasl. When the CLPython project page is set up, I expect to release the initial version within a few days. For now it only works on Allegro CL 8.0, but the intention is to make it portable. Hi, I am working on the python-on-lisp project, which is led by Jeremy Smith. We would like to setup an svn repository hosted on common-lisp.net in order to streamline development. Jeremy is the project leader, but I will handle the initial import into the svn repository. Could you create two committer accounts for him and me? Also, within a month or so, we'd like to host the asdf tarball for python-on-lisp on common-lisp.net, so that it can be installed over the net. I'm not sure what the procedure for that is, but if there's a page explaining it could you please point me to the right URL? thanks, alexis

I'd like to create a new project, "stdutil" for the gardeners Standard Utilities Effort. stdutil-admin (eslick(a)alum.mit.edu) stdutil-dev stdutil-announce A darcs repository (I have a local one I can use to seed the common-lisp.net one) A home page redirect to the documentation server (if I can't host it at common-lisp.net) Everything here will be released under an MIT or BSD style license, although some mixing will occur as we get author's permissions and have to add/remove various utilities. My intention is to group them under one web page. It could be called nixies. I'm the only project member. I'd like to have this hosting because asdf-install does not work with sourceforge.
