I'd like to add a new project member to my project CVS. Here is his

Hello
I want to ask you to allow me host a cl-project on common-lisp.net.
the project in question is a tool for converting xml-data into calls to common lisp function
eg.
<list>
</list>
-> NIL
I propose the name nrw.xmcl. But I really do not care. The code will be released under a bsd-style license.
Thank s in advance

Hi,
My project "Wispy Lisp", a web-framework, is accepted by LisyNYC as
one of the SOC projects this year.
I am Howard Yeh, and my mentor is Marco Barringer of UCW.
My project proposal is attached.
Thanks,
Howard
Hello,
I'm doing a project funded by the Google Summer of Code.
I would really appreciate if it could be hosted on common-lisp.net
with a darcs repository, and a mailing list. My ssh key is attached.
CL-STM is an extension of Common Lisp to support composable Software
Transactional Memory. STM makes concurrent programming qualitatively
better. Instead of traditional lock-based programming, you
program with atomic transactions. Atomic transactions can be composed
together to make larger atomic transactions. Finally, it just so
happens that transactions run in parallel, and are rolled back if
there are conflicts.
STM gives us freedom from deadlock, automatic roll-back on failure,
and it resolves the tension between granularity and concurrency.
CL-STM will be released under a BSD licence.
Thanks very much, I hope you have a good day.
Hoan
I can't figure out how to reset my administrative password for the CL-
Container-devel mailing list or how to get it mailed to me.

Hi,
I'd like to have cl-darcs hosted at common-lisp.net. cl-darcs is a
darcs client written in Common Lisp, mostly intended for platforms
where GHC is not available. It's not usable yet, but is reaching the
state where it needs version control. It is licensed under the GPL,
due to its heritage from the original client.
I'd like Subversion and Trac to be enabled for the project. (darcs
might follow when it becomes selfhosting)
My name is Magnus Henoch. My GPG key id is ED67988B; the key can be
found at http://www.dtek.chalmers.se/~henoch/gpg-public-key .
Thanks!
Magnus
Hi,
I am in the process of putting together a bunch of scripts to generate
binary .deb packages of free lisp applications (climacs, gsharp, and
beirc at this point) based on SBCL.
The project will be named Steeldump and consist of a svn repository ith
the scripts used for compilation as well as the actual APT download
area. I believe it would be nice to have it on cl.net instead of
spreading it out over cclan CVS and random mirrors.
(The license of the scripts will be something trivial, BSD-style or so.
Space requirements should be moderate, it's currently around 30 MB.)
Erik already indicated willingness to host this, so here the format
request: Please create a project "steeldump" for me.
Thank you,
David
Hi,
There's a CVS repository for Rucksack on common-lisp.net now. See
the CVS download instructions at common-lisp.net, or just select
"Download tarball" at http://common-lisp.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/?root=rucksack
(I haven't tested either of these; if you have problems, let me know.)
According to http://common-lisp.net/project-intro.shtml, any CVS commits
will be sent to rucksack-cvs(a)common-lisp.net, but that doesn't seem to
work at the moment. Erik, could you tell me if I need to do something
to enable this? Thanks.
If you want write access to the CVS repository, let me know and I'll try
to figure out how to enable this.

Erik, is there something I should do to get anonymous cvs running?
Thanks,
Arthur
Hi Erik (I suppose),
There are a few people who want to hack on my Rucksack persistence
library, so I want to set up a cvs repository for it. I think that
common-lisp.net is probably the best place to do that.
Could you set up a Rucksack project for me? The initial members (with
CVS write access) would be:
Arthur Lemmens <alemmens(a)xs4all.nl>
Nikodemus Siivola <nikodemus(a)random-state.net>
Edi Weitz <edi(a)agharta.de>
Rucksack has a MIT-style license.
If you need more info, just let me know.
Thanks a lot,
Arthur Lemmens
Hello,
I would like to ask, whether common-lisp.net has a place for blitzblog,
my blog software. Blitzblog is a useable blog software missing only some
bits here and there. Notable features include:
* Jabber bot handling comments and notifying users of new entries
* XML-RPC interface
* blogging from (X)Emacs via said interface
* Template system (needs work)
It currently runs on Allegro CL, but porting it to SBCL is planned. It
can be seen "in action" at: http://efficio.wh29.tu-dresden.de/
Current license is MIT-style. Further note that I use Darcs as VCS.

Hi,
afflicted to annoy you with that, but I'm the maintener of
cl-wav-synth on common-lisp.net and I've seen that I have no access to
the anonymous cvs (the member cvs works ok).
here is the command I use as described in the FAQ (it works nice with
climacs for example)
cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anonymous:anonymous@common-lisp.net:/project/cl-wav-synth/cvsroot co cl-wav-synth
Did I have done something wrong ? How can I enable the anonymous cvs ?
Thanks a lot for your services,
regards,
Philippe

Hi Admin --
During the past year, we have developed a Common Lisp library,
CL-MUPROC, which enables supports CL multiprocessing inspired by the
facilities by the programming language Erlang (cf.
http://www.erlang.org) -- and I would like to add it as a
common-lisp.net project.
If you need to know more about cl-muproc, you may wan to check the
slides from my presentation at the European Common Lisp Metting in
Hamburg this past week-end, cf.
http://weitz.de/eclm2006/eclm2006--cl-muproc--Klaus-Harbo.pdf.
If possible, I would like the project to be called cl-muproc.
The license for cl-muproc is 2-clause BSD.
I need only one user to access, namely myself. I have attached my gpg
public key to this mail.
And, please do let me know if you need more information!
best regards,
Klaus Harbo
