Hi, Anoncvs access to the new lgtk problem doesn't seem to be working. % cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@common-lisp.net:/project/lgtk/cvsroot co lgtk cvs server: failed to create lock directory for `/project/lgtk/cvsroot/lgtk' (/project/lgtk/cvsroot/lgtk/#cvs.lock): Permission denied cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/project/lgtk/cvsroot/lgtk' cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up -- Eric Marsden <URL:http://www.laas.fr/~emarsden/>

It seems that Mario did not take care to make sure lgtk was the group-owner of the /project/lgtk/cvsroot directory (and all files below it). I've fixed that now and anoncvs for lgtk works again. common-lisp.net now provides macho-generated archives of the mailinglists. Example: <http://common-lisp.net/macho-archives/slime-cvs/> which you can get to from the standard Mailman page: <http://common-lisp.net/mailman/listinfo/slime-cvs> Erik.

Hi, As our site is starting to grow, I think we should add a search feature. The path of least resistance would be to add a google search option somewhere, as explained here: http://www.google.com/searchcode.html#both Objections? Should we do that on a separate page? Regards, Mario

I set up INN2 on nntp.common-lisp.net. All mailinglists are mirrored with the newsgroups and viceversa (any posts to either are seen on both). This should make NNTP fans (like me) happier. Any reason not to go ahead and announce this on <http://common-lisp.net/>? Erik.
