Hi, I have enabled SpamAssassin on common-lisp.net - This should reduce the amount of spam that passes the system significantly. Spam filtering is performed during SMTP receiption and the threshold is very low. False positives will travel back to the sender with the message that the email was considered spam, so I don't think that the low threshold should be a problem. If there are still reports about spam passing through our mailer, I'd like to learn about it and maybe tune the system more. Cheers, Hans

Hi, can someone please point me to the "add project" script? I would like to change it so that new projects are always owned by mail addresses @common-lisp.net. I would also like to change the "add user" script so that a .forward is automatically created. This will make it easier to change the email adress of a user. Thanks, Hans

(apologies if this turns up twice; I tried to send before I confirmed my email and the first hasn't show up yet, but hasn't received a bounce message either) Hi, The web interfaces to CVS and other repo systems (http://common-lisp.net/viewrep.shtml) all appear completely empty, so web links from other sites (i.e. cliki) to projects in CVS give a 404 error (like this one: http://common-lisp.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/cells/?root=cells). Is this is why such projects fail for me with asdf-install? I only started using it today so maybe in my ignorance I've missed some obvious steps. Advice would be appreciated... Oisín

Hi, I would propably have subscribed to this list earlier if someone had told me earlier - Erik Huelsmann did it today, and I'm now subscribed. For those of you who don't know: I am one of the three admins on the new common-lisp.net, together with Drew and Gary. I took responsibility for the email system (spamassassin is high on my list) and I have a fair amount of general Unix knowledge, so I can perform most administrative tasks. In general, we are dependent on problem reports. None of us has a complete picture of all features that have ever been installed and in use on common-lisp.net, and, more importantly, all of us have day jobs with common-lisp.net being a voluntary and unpaid activity. [clo-devel] Trac installed at c-l.net: 0.9.4 not good anymore

I just noticed the trac instance installed at c-l.net is 0.9.4. However, looking at the release history of the project, the most recent 0.9 version is 0.9.6, which at least has 1 cross-site-scripting bug fixed. Is the Trac instance on c-l.net current enough (also considering the latest is 0.11.1; 0.11.2 being considered for release). Bye, Erik.
