Just a note that github (and other major sites in the U.S.) appear to be under heavy cyber attack today. Meanwhile gitlab.common-lisp.net continues business as usual. Unreachable merge request

I was trying to look at https://gitlab.common-lisp.net/cmucl/cmucl/merge_requests/16 and gitlab responds with a 500 error. This was working before the merge happened. This merge request still works: https://gitlab.common-lisp.net/cmucl/cmucl/merge_requests/12 The only thing different that I can tell is that 12 was created by me and 16 was created by a contributor. Any ideas?

Does closure have a maintainer?

I tried to get the source code for Closure web browser using cvs: https://common-lisp.net/project/closure/, and my connection was denied. I ended up getting Closure from a githhub repository: https://github.com/dym/closure, but the owner of that repository claimed that he wasn't the maintainer. I can maintain this project if it doesn't have a maintainer. Thank you! vtomole

Support for running lisps on c-l.net?

I wanted to be able to run cmucl and ccl on c-l.net (to run some automated tests). Cmucl won't run; I think the 32-bit libraries that cmucl needs are missing. I tried running both 32- and 64-bit ccl, but there's some strange error produced. I can't tell if that's caused by c-l.net or some bug in ccl. Don't know if this is a goal for c-l.net, but it seems natural that c-l.net should be able to run common lisp implementations. :-) -- Ray

cl-variates problem?

Importing project via git url?

I tried to import an git repo from sourceforge using the git url option for creating a new repo by importing one. It fails with the message Import url must be a valid URL I know the URL (http://git.code.sf.net/p/maxima/code maxima-code) is correct because git clone works locally. Is this not supported? -- Ray

Commit list/mailing lists working?

I did a commit yesterday and didn't see the commit go to the cmucl-cvs commit list. It's not in the archives either. I do know that the commit did try to send an email because it also sent the message to the old cmucl commit list at cons.org[1]. Did I mess something up? (I was looking at webhooks the other day, but I don't think I modified anything.) [1] Which always bounces the message, but I think that's a problem with cons.org, not c-l.net. -- Ray
