[Clo-devel] ssh not working?

I can't seem to ssh into common-lisp.net anymore. It was working earlier today, but now ssh fails. I get the message that port 22: Operation timed out. Other things seem to be working. Trac is responding and I can git pull things. Ray

[Clo-devel] gitweb for mkcl now broken!

Hello, Up until a few hours ago the gitweb link on the MKCL <http://common-lisp.net/project/mkcl/> page was working properly and had been for the last few months. But not anymore. Here is a copy of the link information: http://common-lisp.net/gitweb?p=projects/mkcl/mkcl.git all it gets now is a: 404 - Not such project I guess that something changed in the setup of common-lisp.net that caused this. Is there some modification I should do the link to make it work again? Thanks, Jean-Claude Beaudoin

[Clo-devel] Mailman admin access broken

Hello, It seems that something went wrong recently with admin access to the mkcl-devel mailing list. Whenever I click on http://common-lisp.net/cgi-bin/mailman/admin/mkcl-devel I get a 404. I suspect the same may be happening for other common-lisp.net hosted lists. Can it be easily fixed? Regards, Jean-Claude Beaudoin

[Clo-devel] Trac ticket emails bouncing

First, email messages sent by the trac ticket system require moderator approval. This didn't used to happen, but I don't remember when this started. As the moderator, I respond and the message is sent. That's not great, but I don't mind it because there are very few tickets. However, within the last month or two, when I respond to the moderator message, I get a bounce saying the email couldn't be delivered to the reply address. It's something like cmucl-ticket+moderate-2b6c59a112760eb7(a)common-lisp.net, where the hex digits change with each message. This didn't used to happen. The ticket message is, however, successfully sent. These are just minor annoyances that didn't used to happen. Ray

[clo-devel] Recent changes to lisppaste@common-lisp.net?

Hi, Yesterday I was notified through #lisp that lisppaste stopped working. When logging into the lisppaste account on cl-net (which runs lisppaste and the bots), I found the bots running on Quicklisp infrastructure and lisppaste still in its old configuration. A very nice change, if we can port lisppaste to the same infrastructure. However: I have no idea what other changes were required to get Quicklisp running, but whatever they were: they broke lisppaste. When restarting lisppaste, it can't read its paste XML files: there's an error reading paste 130<something>.xml in the s-xml:resolve-entity function which seems to be unable to store a value read from an input stream in a string. the character code is high: 8k-something. Do you know who changed the setup and can we work to restore the service asap? Thanks! Bye, Erik.

[clo-devel] Fwd: Moving cl-net to a new machine

Hey, So, I have a new machine which I have set up for KVM VPS's. I am planning to move all my hosting over, including cliki.net and common-lisp.net . Hans has told me that this is the 'proper' mailing list , so I Fwded the email from admin@ to clo-devel@. Since it is a KVM VPS rather then Xen, simply copying over the fs will not quite do, and besides, this is a chance to do things right the first time, again, etc. So, questions: Is this the right mailing list and should I ask on more? Who wants to help? What needs done? Any ideas that will help? Cheers, drewc

[clo-devel] Public 'http:' SVN URL doesn't work as shown in FAQ

Hi, I was checking that the public SVN URLs given in the FAQ would actually work. The first one (the 'svn:' one) works fine, but the 'http:' one doesn't work as shown. I fiddled around a little and found that it works if I leave out 'project/': svn co http://svn.common-lisp.net/fset I don't know if the better fix is to change the server config or to change the URL in the FAQ. -- Scott
