All,
The clo-devel mailing list has been migrated to mailman3. For the moment
it's the only list and this message serves as a test-email to see that the
setup works.
Migration of the archives of dead lists (lists that have existed in the
past, but don't exist anymore) is on-going. While that's continuing, I'm
waiting with further migrations of active lists a bit to see whether the
new system functions properly.
Regards,

Erik et al,
I have managed to lock myself out of the payments host. I attempted to
install ufw as a simpler interface on top of iptables and/or nftables, but
after a failed attempt at the ufw installation, I'm not able to get in at
all.
Erik: Sorry to have to ask you this especially in the middle of mailman
migration, but I think you're the only one who maybe has access to a
virtual console to the VM through hetzner. Could you have a look at the
machine (payments.common-lisp.net) and see about opening up firewall for
ssh on the standard port (I think i'm still running sshd on 22 on there)
If the VM needs to be wiped and reinstalled (hopefully not) then it won't
be the end of the world - i can certainly reinstall the payments
application -- but there are some log files on there which I would very
much like to get off the machine if possible (all under ~dcooper8/ --
transaction logs for donations and print sales etc).
Sorry again..
Dave

Hello,
I tried sending a request for a new GitLab group for CLiki2 to
admin(a)common-lisp.net on May 31, and again on June 4.
I have not received a reply to either message. I did get DMARC
reports from several mail hosts, except philipp(a)marek.priv.at, for
whom the following delivery failure message was returned:
Mail Delivery System <Mailer-Daemon(a)common-lisp.net> writes:
> This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
>
> A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
> recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

> philipp(a)marek.priv.at
> (generated from pmarek(a)common-lisp.net)
> host nc.hitco.at [2a03:4000:6:71ec::cafe]
> SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<philipp(a)marek.priv.at>:
> 550 5.7.23 <philipp(a)marek.priv.at>: Recipient address rejected:
> Message rejected due to: SPF fail - not authorized. Please see http://www.openspf.net/Why?s=mfrom;id=vas@oneofus.la;ip=2a01:4f8:160:83c4::…<UNKNOWN>
I believe this is due to a configuration error on Philipp's SMTP
server, and have corresponded with him about this separately. The
DMARC policy for my mail domain has a "none" policy, so SPF failures
should not be rejected. I set up DKIM, SPF, and DMARC on this domain
in 2015, have a 10/10 deliverability score from
https://www.mail-tester.com/ and have not had any problems with
mailing lists.
So, 2 things:
1. Can everyone who is being forwarded mail from
admin(a)common-lisp.net please check their spam folders for any
messages sent via admin(a)common-lisp.net to them since May 30th?
2. Can someone please make a new GitLab group for CLiki2 with my
account (vsedach) as an owner?
If no one finds emails from me sent to admin(a)common-lisp.net in their
Spam folders, there might be a configuration issue with how those
mails are forwarded. I receive mail forwarded via
vsedach(a)common-lisp.net, so it might be something involving
forwarding to multiple people.
Thank you.

Along with commit messages no longer working for me, changes/comments to
issues aren't getting sent out either. The last change I've received
was on 3/24. There have been updates since then.
Can someone take a look?
I did some commits to cmucl today and I'm not receiving commit messages
anymore. The last commit message I see (to cmucl-cvs(a)common-lisp.net)
was on Mar 23, a few days ago. I haven't changed any settings that I
know of. Did something on common-lisp.net change in the last week? I
don't see any relevant news on common-lisp.net.
Hello all,
I have some questions about the CL and I'm thankful if anyone replies to them based on the question number:
1- Why isn't Lisp updated anymore?
2- Why are there two websites? https://common-lisp.net and https://lisp-lang.org/
3- Is Clojure an enhanced version of the CL?
4- What is the updated version of CL?
Thank you.
Hi,
I have misplaced the anaphora-cvs mailing list password, and there's spam
there that needs clearing - but honestly I would really rather move the
entire project to orphaned state...
Cheers,
- Nikodemus
Dear all
I am sorry to be so annoyed, but this 2FA/PTA stuff is really getting way
too annoying. In general.
Please change/configure the main login page in a better way.
My account just got locked because of the PAT which did not get recognized.
At a minimum, since 2FA was added it should not ask for the password, but
it should state that it needs 2FA.
Moreover, 2FA did not start and I could not use Google Authentication to
enter.
Thanks

Hi
I locked myself out of my account. Can you please unlock it for me?
Can I say that PAT authentication sucks big time?
All the best
Marco

First off, I feel like I might be sending this to the wrong list, so
if that's the case, my apologies.
I'm in the process of setting up a mastodon server for lispers with
all of the turmoil going on around twitter, etc. I am curious if
there is any interest in having it associated with common-lisp.net.
I will cover all costs associated with running the server - in fact
it would only consist of pointing a cname or a record to the
appropriate name or address, but I need to know the name before I pull
the trigger on getting it running. It seems like the sort of thing
that might be appropriate, but maybe I'm wrong.
