[patch] RET on no part in *inspector* buffer

I wonder if anyone else is seeing the same error in the latest slime. Press RET any non-interactive part of the *slime-inspector* buffer and get a "wrong number of arguments" error instead of the intended "no object at point". slime in git

Hi, I updated slime from git today and have been having problems with it (linux x86 and x86-64 sbcl). When I use quicklisp to load drakma it gets somewhere in flexi-streams and then hangs, the sbcl process stops using any cpu and I can't interrupt with C-cC-c. I can use the restart-inferior-lisp command from the repl, and if I do so, then at the second attempt to quickload it gets further, but hangs again further along. I assume that this is because it re-uses some of the fasls from the previous compilation, because if I delete the ~/.cache/common-lisp/ directory then it behaves as before. I attach a sample session, you don't see it, but each time I got a prompt before the very last I had to use restart-inferior-lisp. It's important to state that if I start sbcl from a terminal, then it successfully quickoads drakma, even if I delete the fasl cache, so there must be some interaction that is going wrong between sbcl and slime. --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Navigating SLIME Common Lisp code with lispy.el screencast

Hi all, I've just posted a new screencast at https://vimeo.com/86825511. It showcases using https://github.com/abo-abo/lispy for navigating SLIME's Common Lisp code base. It's also possible to navigate the Elisp, Scheme and Clojure code. I'm using CEDET functionality, so the parsing has to be done only once per directory and then it's saved to CEDET's db. Slime keybindings for Compiling etc dont work in emacs

I am using emacs 24 and ubuntu 13.10. I have slime setup and get the CL-USER REPL on invocation. When I write a program and compile using C-c C-c or C-c C-k, it says these are undefined. How do I verify that these keychord combinations are infact setup?

swank seems not to be strong enough

The stumpwm never encounter any problem if not starting swank server. Translation of Clisp messages into Esperanto

Dear List I have translated all the messages of clisp version 2.49 as released by Debian/sid (version 2.49-8.2), into Esperanto (the international language). I am now currently translating all the messages of SLIME (version 20130626-1). Again, into Esperanto. The REPL is not yet done, but nearly everything else is done. The supporting lisp files are compiled into fasls and stored somewhere appropriate. If a user "M-x slime-connect"s to some running lisp where a swank server is already running, we must attempt to compile any needed supporting lisp there as well. (this might be problematic and we could just assume that the target has the same contribs). Now I think this could be done with or without ASDF. But I think ASDF would make it much simpler. According to Francois, startup times are seem OK. M-x slime on sbcl takes well more than two seconds for me. We could package quicklisp, but I think that's going well beyond the scope of slime.
