There seems to be some sort of leak or looping problem. After a small bit of usage, Regex Coach becomes unusably slow. Restarting the application fixes this for a short period of time before it must be restarted again, etc. It would really help to replace all the 10 radio buttons for the group extraction into a listbox or similar UI. It would also be nice if a better (less bold) font were used, or have the font be user-selectable. Thanks, Charlie

[regex-coach] Bug?: Pressing "alt gr"+"\\\" makes my ctrl button "sticky"...

When I enter the key combination mentioned in the subject in order to define a regex like this: *<img src=\\\" *I have to restart my computer to get rid of having my "ctrl" thinking that it was told to be a "sticky" key..... I really like Regex Coach, but this little problem has been driving me crazy for a week (and 150 restarts...) now. Is it just me or? I am running version 0.9 on Windows XP Professional. Hello, Is it possible to put more than 10 selection radi button on the Control page. It would be great because I usually have quite complex regex's and they produces more than 10 selections. Cheers, Zoltán

Would it be possible to add support for different fonts/sizes In the Regular expression and Target String boxes? If full font/size/decoration is asking too much, then a simple bold/normal choice would keep me happy - I just don't like bold text. Steve Swift http://www.swiftys.org.uk

[regex-coach] 0.9.0 fails in xp pro sp2

Hi, I uninstalled by trusty Regex Coach 0.6.7 and installed 0.9.0 on Windows XP Pro SP 2. Everything seemed fine until I finished with "run regex coach" ticked. It says it failed in CreateProcess on The Regex Coach.exe with error number 14001. Trying it later from the icon gets a message that it failed because the application configuration is incorrect. I have re-uninstalled, reinstalled, re-downloaded and then back again and it's always the same. Anybody else have that problem? I'm on a Dell notebook. Cheers

[regex-coach] small bug

There's a small bug in the software with dual screen monitors. If you maximize the window on the secondary screen, then minimize it, it will fail to maximize again. The only option is to close and reopen the program. Patrick

the "|m" was just in there for the example. I'm actually trying to match html tags with small contents inside like; <tag> V </tag> <tag> I </tag> <tag> A </tag> <tag> G </tag> <tag> R </tag> <tag> A </tag> with the expression similar to "/(>.{1,4}<[\S\s]*){4}/" and noticed the behaviour when I changed the ".{1,4}" to "[.^<]{1,4}". I did notice that "\s" and "\S" are matched inside a character class, which is what I think led me to assume other meta-characters would be too. I've only been using regex for a while, so I am stumbling along. Thanks for the man page. I'm reading it now. Any other advice you could give for this expression would be great.
